POWERHOUSE FEMALE VOCALIST & COUNTRY ROCK ARTIST
ERIN McANDREW
TO RELEASE STAY ALIVE EXTENDED PLAY (EP)
FEBRUARY 2, 2018

LOS ANGELES, CA – After introducing her voice with her June 2016 debut album Skeleton of Life, singer/songwriter Erin McAndrew returns with her sophomore release, the extended play (EP) Stay Alive. The four-song EP will be available on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, and other outlets with an exclusive CD presale on her website www.erinmcmusic.com.

Stay Alive explores Erin’s decision to take her music from New York City – where she started her career as the lead singer of the Long Island-based rock band Tiny Giant playing the legendary CBGBs and other local venues – to Los Angeles. The songs follow a journey of her feelings and experiences from coast to coast. Erin recorded Stay Alive in late 2017 alongside producer, longtime friend and fellow singer/songwriter Dan Nelson at DNM Studios in Levittown, New York.

Since the release of Skeleton of Life, Erin has performed her music at over fifty solo performances in six states, including her native Pennsylvania and her new home, California. “Playing for a variety of crowds in several states and feeding off of different energies of each audience has helped shape me further and improve myself as an artist,” Erin says. “This EP is the the most raw, real, true version of me that is being released. I can’t wait to share this with everyone.”

Erin will be supporting Stay Alive with a number of performances in 2018, and will launch the album with a Facebook LIVE online release party on Friday, February 2. Fans can join in on the party at www.facebook.com/erinmcmusic

The first single from Stay Alive, “Big City & Bright Lights,” is available as a free download from www.freemusicfromerin.com. The song traces Erin’s emotional decision to leave New York, which served as her home for over a decade, for the West Coast. “This song is a true ode to New York City and how much it means to me by involving all I have experienced, the people I’ve met, and the places I have been while living there. New York City will always be a huge part of me, and will always be a home for me,” she says.

In addition to her music, in 2016 Erin began hosting Rockin’ Thru the Grapevines, a biweekly YouTube show about her favorite wines and wineries, including wineries she has performed at. Rockin’ Thru the Grapevines has given Erin the opportunity to promote her music as well as to promote boutique wineries from all over the United States.
